Banana Bread
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter (softened)
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
1/3 c. water
1 2/3 c. flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
(1/2 c. nuts optional)
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease bottom only (used avocado oil spray)
- Mix sugar and softened butter
- Mix in eggs until well blended
- Add bananas and water, beat for 30 seconds
- Mix in remaining ingredients (except for nuts—stir in after)
- Optional—Sprinkle a little extra sugar on top for added taste
Bake for 55-75 minutes (I baked in a 9” glass loaf dish and cooked for 75 minutes, checking occasionally with a toothpick after 60 minutes.
