Cheesy Garlic Bread

Christmas Appetizer Idea

Do you have a party this Christmas season and the menu is all about the appetizers? How fun to have mini foods for Christmas!! I love mini foods so here is a great idea if you are running out of ideas this Christmas season and have already too many things on your list.

We decided to take one thing off your list and share with you one of our favorite new appetizer recipes. Best part this is a great recipe for any side meal throughout the year and easy to pull apart. It's basically a cheesy garlic bread, and beyond DELICIOUS!

Most recently we tried it out at mom and dads and it was a HUGE hit with not only the adults, but the kids LOVED it. It has already been requested that auntie brings it to the next family get together, which always makes me happy!

What you will need...simple, a whole 5 items.

-Loaf of French/Italian Bread

-1 stick of butter (I used salted and softened)

-1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

-2 cloves of garlic (mince)

-1 tablespoon of fresh parsley

Directions:

1. Set oven to 350 degrees

2. Cut loaf of bread on a diagonal down the length, then the opposite way again down the length to make about 1" cubes (not all the way through)

3. Combine softened butter, garlic and parsley

4. Using your finger pull back the bread and drizzle in the butter combination (we found that a turkey baster worked incredible for getting the desired amount in the correct spot)

5. Sprinkle cheese throughout bread by pulling apart butter squares.

5. Place in oven for 10-15 minutes (keeping an eye to add a little crustiness without burning the cheese and bottom)

6. Eat up, Enjoy and I promise you to hurry and snatch pieces as quick as possible!!
